My Latest Doll Project!

 This doll was so much fun to create. Her body is cloth with china hands and feet. Her face was made from a mold I made using a vintage cloth doll with a plastic head. The head was just the right size and I thought a charming face. I had a beautiful gown I purchased long ago and made a matching bonnet. She reminds me of an antique Victorian era doll.

A Little Doll Finished!

 I just finished a 9" doll with a cloth body, porcelain shoulder head with touches of polymer clay to make a square nose so she appears to be wood when painted. She has black painted hair and eyes, her hands are real carved wood. She is dressed for a tea party in her mint green gown and matching poke bonnet and shoes.
