I found a Milliner doll on Ruby Lane in badly need of repair so I decided to take it on. Her leather body was of no use but I was lucky enough to find a tiny leather body on eBay which is so hard to find so I paid full price and decided to take a chance it would work for my project. I had to remove the wooden legs which were missing feet and take out some sawdust to reinsert the completed legs. I then did the same with the wooden arms and finally attached the paper mache head. Her head had a damaged nose which I also repaired with papier mache and added sealer. She measures a petite 7 1/2" tall.
Here are before and after pictures.
